Apparently I'm too lazy to do my nails this week, so I'm putting up an old pic of a french manicure I did way back in 2009. Hopefully I've gotten straighter with my lines since then. I think there's a lot of people that don't like french manis, I actually really like them. French pedis, on the other hand, totally not a fan.

One day I will have a big slouchy yellow purse. It probably won't be a Bottega Veneta. And I probably won't spend $1800 on it. Or even $1300 on sale. But, still...

As I mentioned yesterday, I was quite the baker over the weekend. On Saturday afternoon, I made cinnamon bread. It definitely wasn't a desserty kind of thing, but it was so good with a cup of coffee. It's too bad it didn't last longer - there were only 2 slices left for breakfast the next morning!

I don't really enjoy cooking, but I think I actually like to bake. I made a couple things over the weekend, one being a lemon loaf. I'm not a huge fan of lemony desserts, but Billy is, so this one I made for him. Not that I haven't eaten my share - it turned out really good!

Fun fact - I stole Billy's wedding look from one of the Jonas Brothers. I can't tell you his name, but the one in the middle.

Not quite the same - no tie, since I wanted it more casual. But yeah, when I was searching for what kind of style I thought he should wear for the wedding, I came across that pic and thought it would be perfect. Thankfully he agreed!

Today's swatch is Essie Marshmallow. It's actually the color I wore on my fingernails for my wedding. I like it. It's a nice soft white. Even though Essie is easier to get ahold of now that they are sold at Walmart, I only have 2 - this and a light pink. Both seem kind of streaky at first, and then even out. Maybe I'll try another color one day.

New library books!

Here We Go Again by Betty White. I should have posted this yesterday, since it was her birthday.

The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella. I actually have already finished this. It only took me 2 days. I liked it, it was fun.

Don't Look Down by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer. My fun romance pick.

Lisey's Story by Stephen King. In the last King book, I found Hell Money. I think finding it in a Stephen King book made it kind of spooky.

Billy was with me on this trip, so he picked up a couple books for himself -
